Greedy Woman and The Golden Egg

There lived a poor woman in a small village. Her family lived in poverty. She was very sad for money. One day the fairy gave him a magic goose. She became very happy. Because the goose laid one golden egg every day. The woman sold the golden egg in the market every day and bought things for her family. Soon they lived as a rich family.

Some days later a very wicked idea came to her mind. She thought, "if the magic goose lays one golden egg every day, how many golden eggs will be inside the goose? If I cut and open his belly of this goose, I will get so many eggs at a time. I will become rich in a single day.”

She took a knife and killed the goose and open its belly. But she found no eggs inside. Because of her greed, she lost its magic goose and the golden egg.

Small Mouse and The Mighty Bull

Once there lived a bull in a small village. It was a hot summer day. The bull was sound asleep under a Oak tree. The bull was snoring loudly. There was a mouse lived nearby. This loud noise evoked the curiosity of that mouse.

The mouse climbed up to the nose of the bull. As the bull snored, the mouse bit his nose madly for fun’s snake. But the bull woke up and snorted “Who bit me and woke me up?” The little mouse replied “Sorry Mr. Bull! I bit you playfully, but I did not expect to wake you up”.

The bull got wild. He started to chase the small mouse. The mouse began to run for his life. At last, he found a small hole in a stone wall. He ran into the hole and waited to see what the bull is going to do.

The bull came dashing up to the wall. He was not able to catch the mouse. He roared “You silly creature! I will teach you a lesson” and dashed against the wall. The wall was too strong for the bull.
The bull heard the mouse saying, “Why are you breaking your heard for a small thing?” He left the place immediately.

Moral : Might is never right always.

The Innovativeness of a Crow : With Morals

It was a hot summer day. One day it was very hot and dry, when a crow became thirsty. He flied higher and harder in search of water. But he could not find water anywhere. He was sitting in a garden with thirsty.

After some time, the crow came across a pitcher that was lying under a tree. He peeped into it, and found that there was some water, but at a very low level. It was not possible for him to drink it with his small beak. He was disheartened. But he thought how he could drink that water. So he didn't went anywhere. He tried a lot because there was some water in the pitcher made him eager to drink.

The crow's eyes suddenly fell on a heap of pebbles which were lying under a nearby tree. A wonderful idea came to his mind that by dropping the pebbles into the pitcher, the level of the water could be brought to a higher level. So he began to drop the pebbles one by one into the pitcher; and finally, the level of the water was raised. At last he drank it and fly with happily.

The Deer and The Young Crow

Once upon a time, there lived a king crow with his family and neighbours in a banyan tree in a dense forest. All the crows were helping each other all the time. It was a hot summer day. There was no water in the forest. All the ponds, streams and rivers were dry due to heat. The chief of the crows convened a meeting of crows. He told everyone that some of them would go to search for water in the forest and wherever one gets to know about water, they will be able to quench their thirst by coming and telling everyone. All the crows obeyed the order of the chief and went for search of water. That way everyone was quenching their thirst. A month passed by doing so. But now the water was dry everywhere. Then again, there was water trouble for the crows. After two or three days when the crows could not find water, it was a hard time for all the crows to live.

One day one of the crow family went in search of water. One of the young crow got tired of looking for water. He was sitting on a tree in the forest, while he saw a deer resting under the tree. He asked the deer about the water. The deer told to the young crow that he knows he could get the water. He flew  and follow the deer. The deer took him towards the little water pond. The young crow was very happy. The water in that pond never runs out because there was a farmer lived on that field. He used to grow vegetables from that water.

The young crow drank the water  from that pond and thanked the deer with humility. He went back to the herd and told everyone about the pond and the deer. Next day all the crows family came, drank the water and thanked the deer.

Moral: Whenever anyone offers help, thank the helper.
